EU constantly forces countries to choose ‘with us or with them’ – Lavrov

The European Union constantly forces post-Soviet countries to choose “either with us or with them,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during talks with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan in Moscow.
“This is their logic, which has been applied in the post-Soviet space for more than 20 years,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.
“I sincerely hope that Armenia clearly understands what lies behind this. In a situation where the EU and European NATO members have declared war on Russia to inflict a ‘strategic defeat,’ it is highly desirable that the public discourse in our countries not be dominated by narratives that fuel hatred or hostility,” he noted.
