EU mediation format does not work in Armenian prisoners issue – Armenian Deputy FM

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan touched upon the topic of Armenian prisoners held in Baku at the 4th session of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee, noting that the European Union mediation format does not work now.

“Our prisoners continue to stay there, it is a shameful process for Baku from any normal legal, judicial point of view. We ask all our partners to engage in the efforts we are making for peace. We are grateful to the EU, but the EU mediation format is not working now,” he said.
