EU welcomes temporary opening of Margara-Alican border crossing between Armenia and Turkey

The European Union has welcomed the temporary opening of the Margara-Alican border crossing between Armenia and Turkey.

“This gesture of goodwill not only helps those in need in Syria but also shows the added value of the bilateral dialogue and builds onto efforts towards the full normalisation of relations between Armenia and Türkiye,” a statement reads.
