The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) allocated 100 million drams to eliminate the consequences of floods that occurred on May 25–26 in Armenia, EDB Board Chair Nikolai Podguzov announced on Tuesday.
“EDB allocated 100 million drams to eliminate the consequences of the flooding that hit northern Armenia. The funds have been sent to the Ministry of Finance of Armenia for further distribution,” he said.
It should be noted that heavy rains on the territory of Armenia affected local residents, transport and energy facilities, and disrupted rail and road communication.
