Economic activity in Armenia accelerated to 8.1% year-on-year in January–October 2025, up from 7.6% year-on-year in January–September, according to the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) weekly macroeconomic review.
The main drivers of growth were the services sector (+10.8% y/y) and construction (+20.6% y/y). The acceleration was also linked to strong growth in the industrial sector (+17.9% y/y in October).
In January–October, exports and imports continued to show negative dynamics (44.3% y/y and 31.2% y/y, respectively) following high figures last year. It is expected that the pace of economic growth will remain strong through the end of 2025.
