Russia is very patient and, before taking any drastic steps, considers: What will the Armenian people think of us? Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, said this during a press conference.

“But just imagine for a moment if they started acting like the United States. Trump does not think about what Mexicans might think of him. And instead of appreciating Russia’s patience, we do the opposite—we try to throw mud at Russia,” Kocharyan said.

According to him, Europe will do everything possible to cultivate anti-Russian sentiments in Armenia.

“In May, Europeans will come to Armenia and make all sorts of statements. What we must do is counteract them. And this is not about being pro-Russian or anti-Russian, but about adopting pragmatic approaches,” Kocharyan emphasized.
