European Investment Bank to provide Armenia with €50 million for Syunik region

Armenia’s government has approved the signing of a €50 million framework loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the Resilient Syunik program, which aims to enhance infrastructure and public services in the southern Syunik region.
The funds will be allocated for the construction and renovation of schools, medical centers, and other public buildings, as well as for upgrading water supply networks and acquiring modern medical equipment. The program is set for a five-year period, with implementation expected to begin within a year of the agreement’s signing.
