The Country for Children Charitable Foundation and the Heritage and Progress Foundation hosted a real celebration of childhood for Artsakh children in the towns of Goris and Hrazdan on International Children’s Day—games, contests, a mascots show, gifts, and, of course, ice cream, Maria Lvova-Belova, the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, said in her Telegram channel.
“1.5 thousand children, including those from Karabakh families, gathered in the central square of Goris. The celebration in Hrazdan was attended by 1,000 children from Karabakh families who moved to the town last September.
We will continue to support humanitarian projects aimed at helping children and their families in difficult circumstances, both in our country and abroad. We are also ready to help the families of Karabakh Armenians in Russia,” the statement reads.
