In an exclusive interview with Alpha News, Derenik Koshtoyan, Chair of the Kursk regional branch of the Union of Armenians of Russia, spoke about the support that the Diaspora provides to all those affected by the military actions in the Kursk region.
“About 100 Armenians have left the combat zone. Some came to the city of Kursk, others went to their relatives in other regions. There were no Armenians killed or injured in the combat actions. I personally meet with everyone, talk to everyone. We provide both financial and moral assistance. I am in touch with almost everyone. I have contact numbers of those who may need help. We also purchased tickets for those who wanted to go to Armenia.
Many people left their homes and came to Kursk without the most essential things. They did not have time to take anything, only documents. We provide support, housing, basic necessities, food, and help with money. We help on behalf of the Armenian community of Russia and continue to work together,” Derenik Koshtoyan said.
