Exhibition dedicated to Sergei Parajanov opens in St. Petersburg

The exhibition project entitled ‘Next to Parajanov’ has been opened in the Russian Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO in St. Petersburg.

The exhibition features photographs by Yuri Mechitov and Elena Karusaar, timed with the 100th anniversary of outstanding director Sergei Parajanov. 

The exhibition includes portraits of the director, moments of filming, posters, and illustrations for the movies. 

ROSPHOTO has prepared a public program specifically for the exhibition, including excursions, collage workshops, lectures, film screenings, and meetings with contemporary authors of experimental cinema.

The exhibition will last until May 19.
