Exhibition ‘Sergei Parajanov: Eternal Flight’ takes place in Moscow

Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Sergei Parajanov: Eternal Flight’.
The project is timed with the 100th anniversary of the famous director Sergei Parajanov and prepared in cooperation with the State Central Film Museum. The authors of the project tried to show the multifaceted and polyphonic art of Sergei Parajanov.
The exhibition features rare exhibits from the collections of the Film Museum and the State Historical Museum: paintings, graphics, national costumes, arts and crafts, archival materials, and things made by Parajanov’s hands.
The exhibition is complemented by excerpts from the director’s best films, ‘The Color of Pomegranates’, ‘The Legend of the Suram Fortress’, and ‘Ashik Kerib’. Visitors will also be able to see things made by Parajanov’s hands and presented by him to actress Alla Demidova.
The exhibition will last until October 27.
