Extent of damage may increase if this process continues – Aram Orbelyan on ENA

Every citizen of the Republic of Armenia is interested in the outcome, so that tomorrow they do not have to pay millions from their own pocket to fulfill political wishes, lawyer Aram Orbelyan said during the discussion on terminating the electricity distribution license of the Electric Networks of Armenia.

“There is already an interim decision in this process, which is already binding for the Republic of Armenia. And if it is not implemented, and the process reaches the stage of damage compensation, the responsibility will be significantly higher than if the interim decisions are implemented. In such a case, the scale of damages can be limited. At this moment, both the company and the investor have already suffered damages, but the extent may be considerably smaller than if the process continues,” Orbelyan said.
