Speaking about the significance of this church for the Belarusian Armenian community and Belarus as a whole, the Belarusian Foreign Minister emphasized: “Having such a holy place is a great thing. It is a great idea, and the location is nice.”

According to him, it will be not only a temple but also a place of attraction for social and cultural life because a cultural and educational center is also being built on the territory. It is planned to house a museum and a Sunday school there. Thus, a whole spiritual complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church will appear in Minsk.

Construction of the church began in August 2022 and is now nearing completion. The church stands out for its architecture in the national style, made mostly of materials brought from Armenia and by the hands of Armenian craftsmen.
