French Mezzo TV to broadcast concerts of State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia

As part of the cooperation between the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia and the French Mezzo TV, the channel will broadcast the Armenian orchestra’s concerts until February 1, 2024.

“True to its mission, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia presents Armenian compositional art to foreign audiences. The concert programs will feature works by Aram Khachaturian, Avet Terterian, Eduard Baghdasarian, Arno Babajanian, Alexander Arutiunian, and other composers,” the orchestra said.

The channel will further broadcast the documentary film dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian. The film was made on the initiative of the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation, the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science, as well as Mezzo TV. It first aired in December 2023.
