French parliament rejects initiative to impeach Macron

The Bureau of the National Assembly of France has rejected the left’s initiative to impeach President Emmanuel Macron, Le Figaro reports.

The initiative was submitted by the far-left France Unbowed party and supported by 104 left-wing deputies from various political groups. That represents nearly one-fifth of the total 577 members of the National Assembly.
