French senator calls for freezing Azerbaijani assets

Member of the French Senate Valérie Boyer accused Azerbaijan of attempting to destabilize France, in particular by fomenting unrest in New Caledonia.

During the discussion of a bill against foreign interference in French affairs, Boyer called for freezing Azerbaijani assets and directing these funds to compensate for the damage in New Caledonia, which reaches almost 1 billion euros.

She added that Russia, Turkey and China are also involved in actions against France.
