Fresno’s Armenian cemetery hit by arsons

The Armenian cemetery in Fresno, California, has been targeted by arsonists.

The cemetery is the burial place of participant of the Nemesis operation, Armenian national hero Soghomon Tehlerian, Armenian-American writer William Saroyan and a number of other prominent Armenian figures.

The cemetery’s board of directors has concerns that the arson is connected with the upcoming Armenian Genocide Commemoration Day.
