The relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are extremely important, those who want to spoil them should think carefully about what they are doing, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told Sputnik Radio.

“There are quite many who want to warm their hands with this. Just don’t get burned. Because for us, I think that friendly relations between the two nations are really extremely important, and those who want to spoil them should think carefully about what they are doing,” Zakharova said.

Zakharova drew attention to the fact that Russia has been building such relations with Azerbaijan for many years, which presuppose consideration of mutual interests and respectful attitude. “We have so many ties together, so many documents have been signed,” she added.
