From Artsakh to Tavush: wedding in Khoranashat monastery

The wedding ceremony of Tigran and Mariam from Aknaghbyur village in the Hadrut region of Artsakh took place in the Khoranashat monastery in the Tavush region of Armenia.

The ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Aram Mirzoyan, pastor of the city of Berd and the Berd region.

Khoranashat monastery is located northeast of the village of Chinari, near the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The monastery was founded by Vanakan Vardapet with the support of the Vahramyan princes in the thirteenth century.
