The developers of the real-time strategy video game Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition have announced The Mountain Royals DLC, which will introduce two new civilizations, the Armenians and the Georgians.

A detailed overview of the history of the Caucasus peoples can be found on the official website of the game. There you can learn about the relations of Armenians and Georgians with the Mongols, Byzantium, Turks, Tamerlane, and other neighbors.

The Armenians and the Georgians will have their own unique features and units in the game that reflect their specifics.
In the Armenian civilization, the players will play for Thoros II the Great, while the Georgian campaign features Queen Tamar.
