Georgia supports any constructive peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Georgia will support any constructive process aimed at achieving peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Armenian Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan.

“While referring to the need to support peace and stability in the region, the Prime Minister highlighted that Georgia stands ready to support any constructive process aimed at the recovery of peace and stability in the region,” the press service of the Georgian government said.

During the meeting, Garibashvili and Harutyunyan discussed bilateral cooperation and noted that the high-level dialogue on strategic matters will benefit not only Georgia and Armenia but also the entire region.
