Georgia welcomes normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations

Georgia positively assesses the dynamics of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the country’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said in an interview with First Channel.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that rapprochement between Baku and Yerevan is of key importance for peace, stability, and sustainable development in the South Caucasus. According to her, improved relations also contribute to strengthening the region’s role in the implementation of the Middle Corridor project.
Botchorishvili noted that Tbilisi is closely following the developments and maintains strong ties with both Azerbaijan and Armenia.
