Georgia welcomes the peace process between Yerevan and Baku: Irakli Kobakhidze

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, said that he welcomes the peace process between Yerevan and Baku.

According to him, Georgia is ready to contribute to advancing this process whenever the need arises.

“Our countries are opening up new opportunities in the South Caucasus. The processes unfolding today are raising the significance of the Middle Corridor region. We attach particular importance to the development and modernization of transport infrastructure in the region. Azerbaijan and Georgia have repeatedly proven that they are reliable partners, especially in matters of energy,” he said.
