German President posts Artsakh flag on Instagram

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, during his regional visit to Yerevan, posted a video online commenting on the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process. He also posted the Artsakh flag on Instagram.

“This is my first visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan, and among the key issues to be discussed are the mission for long-term stability and peace in the South Caucasus and relations with the two countries to strengthen cooperation in economy, science and culture. The conflict concerns the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Under international law, the region belongs to Azerbaijan. But the majority of people living there are Armenians. The past decades have seen armed conflicts more than once,” he said.
