Germany supports efforts to ensure lasting peace in South Caucasus

Germany supports efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos, Azerbaijani media reported.

The sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and discussed prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also expected to fly to Davos.
