Gevorg Bagratuni: It is not a normal situation, the leadership does not protect the country

The current situation is not normal, the leadership does not protect our country, Gevorg Bagratuni, the chair of National United Armenia NGO, told Alpha News.

“The Armenian community in Holland is divided into 3 parts. One part supports Nikol, the other part is against Nikol, and the third group does not engage in politics at all. There is a large group that is really afraid to go against the RA government, because they think that they are going against their country and consider it a treason.

They do not understand that the situation is not normal. The leadership does not protect our country. By confronting the leadership, we do not speak out against our statehood, but on the contrary, we speak out against the opponents of our sovereign state,” Bagratuni said.

According to him, these events weakened Armenia, but at the same time, it was predictable.

“These were events that broke every Armenian. On the one hand, we can say that this happened, but on the other hand, we knew that this would happen. We were waiting for something to happen. They achieved their goal. They implement their plans without interruption. There is no resistance in Armenia,” Bagratuni said.
