Giorgio Petrosyan knocks out Nasser Boungab to defend his WAKO Pro K-1 World title

Legendary Italian kickboxer of Armenian descent Giorgio Petrosyan scored a first-round knockout over Nasser Boungab to defend his WAKO Pro K-1 World Super Welterweight title at Petrosyan Mania in Monza, Italy.
 
It was the 114th victory in the athlete’s career.

Giorgio Petrosyan is an Armenian-born Italian athlete who competes in kickboxing and Thai boxing. He is nicknamed “The Doctor”. He trains at the Satori Gladiatorium Nemesis gym under the guidance of coach Alfio Romanut. Petrosyan is a two-time K-1 MAX Grand Prix winner, Glory World Series and ONE Championship winner, and Bellator Kickboxing champion.
