Gor Buniatyan Ranked Second in the Cadets Championship in Istanbul

Armenian wrestler Gor Buniatyan (45 kg) ranked second in the World Cadets Wrestling Championship in Istanbul.

In the finals, Buniatyan was competing with Farhad Hatari from Iran where he lost with the score 0:11.

Within the tournament, Armenian athlete defeated three participants: from Turkiye (4:3), from Japan (8:0) in quarterfinals and from Kazakhstan (7:0) in 1/8 finals.

In general, Armenian freestyle wrestlers won 4 medals: Gor Buniatyan won the silver medal, while Sasha Petrosyan (51 kg), Samvel Grigoryan (55 kg) and Henrik Haykyan (110 kg) earned the bronze medal.
