Gor Ghazaryan from Akhalkalaki wins gold medal at European Championship, defeating Turkish boxer

Akhalkalaki athlete Gor Ghazaryan (66 kg) won the only gold medal for the Georgian national team at the EUBC Schoolboys and Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships, having defeated his rival from Turkey, Hakan Chan Karakochi, in the final.

Before that, the athlete defeated Russia’s Nonik Poghosyan, Moldova’s Pavel Radukan, and Armenia’s Narek Kirakosyan.

The EUBC Schoolboys and Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from August 1 to 11.
