Grant-Leon Ranos scores debut goal in Bundesliga

In the fifth round of the Bundesliga, Borussia Mönchengladbach suffered a 4-6 defeat to Eintracht. However, the match will be remembered by Armenian fans thanks to Grant-Leon Ranos’s debut goal.

The 22-year-old Armenian national team player entered the pitch in the 82nd minute and scored with a precise header in the 9th minute of added time, narrowing the score gap. During his 18 minutes on the field, Ranos played as an attacking midfielder, made two accurate passes, and marked the occasion with a personally significant goal.

This was Ranos’s first goal in the German championship, making him the third Armenian player to score in the Bundesliga, following Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sargis Adamyan.
