Gymnasts Hamlet Manukyan and Mamikon Khachatryan bring 8 medals to Armenia

Young members of the Armenia gymnastics team Hamlet Manukyan and Mamikon Khachatryan won a total of 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals at the Pharaoh’s Gymnastics Cup in Cairo, Egypt, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported.

Hamlet Manukyan won 4 gold medals, being recognized as the best in beam (13,600 points), rings (13,650 points), pommel horse (14,300 points) and floor exercises (13,150 points). Mamikon Khachatryan won 3 silver medals in beam (13,150 points), rings (13,000 points) and floor exercises (13,000 points), and became a bronze medalist in pommel horse (13,850 points). The gymnasts participated under the guidance of coach Artak Aydinyan.
