Haik Moussakhanian joins Belarusian club BATE

Armenian defender Haik Moussakhanian has signed a contract with Belarusian club FC BATE Borisov. Known for his versatility, he can play both as a central defender and a defensive midfielder.
The 27-year-old most recently played for FC Alashkert, appearing in 12 matches in 2025.
Moussakhanian was born in Minsk but grew up in France.
He began his professional career in 2017 with Energetik-BGU Minsk, where he made 75 appearances and scored 7 goals in the Belarusian Premier League. Then he played for FC Noah and FC Alashkert in Armenia, as well as FC Haka in Finland.
The Belarusian Premier League is in full swing, with BATE Borisov sitting in 12th place after 15 rounds.
