Hasmik Torosyan to perform in Italy

Armenian soprano Hasmik Torosyan, a soloist of the Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, will perform on August 20 at the Teatro Rossini in Pesaro, Italy. She will be accompanied by renowned pianist Giulio Zappa.

The performance is part of the prestigious Rossini Opera Festival, which takes place annually from August 10 to 22 and gathers opera enthusiasts from all over the world.

Earlier, Hasmik Torosyan released a double album titled “Sounds of Armenia”, featuring folk songs arranged by Komitas. The album was also recorded in collaboration with Giulio Zappa.
