Hayk Ghosalmyan, Head of the Financial-Technical Department and Applications Review at the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), has been dismissed from his position.

Ghosalmyan confirmed the information in a conversation with NEWS. am, stating that he resigned voluntarily. “I had disagreements regarding employment relations, so I decided to resign of my own accord,” he said, declining to elaborate on the nature of the disagreements.

Ghosalmyan had worked at PSRC since 1997.
“I have been working here since the day of foundation. As they say, everything has its logical conclusion—everything has a beginning and an end,” he said.

According to NEWS. am, Ghosalmyan’s resignation is linked to developments at the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA). The employment disagreements he mentioned reportedly arose after Romanos Petrosyan was appointed interim manager of the company. The department Ghosalmyan headed is connected to the functions currently being carried out by Petrosyan at ENA.

It appears that either Ghosalmyan made a misstep and was asked to resign, or, having considered the company’s processes unlawful and recognizing the potential future liability, he chose not to be involved.
