American actor Joe Manganiello got a new tattoo on his hand, honoring his Armenian origin: “Հրեշտակ” (“Angel”) is written on his forearm.

The tattoo is deeply important for Manganiello, as he is a descendant of the Armenian Genocide survivor.

At the event dedicated to the Armenian Genocide in Glendale, the actor spoke about his great-grandfather, who managed to survive the genocide in the Ottoman Empire, during which Armenians were tortured and killed.
