The Armenian people are fighting on two different fronts, Hovhannes Harutyunyan, head of the Voice of the Youth initiative, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“There are two fronts right now. The front of the people of Artsakh is Azeri, the front in Yerevan is the Azeri culture inside Armenia. Today, the Armenian people are fighting the enemy on two fronts,” Harutyunyan said.

According to him, the number of protesters is increasing, with students being the most active ones.

“The first strike started in universities 2 days ago, when we called on people to join a nationwide strike early in the morning. There has not been such a strike in Yerevan universities since 2018. During the Resistance movement, I urged students to join the struggle. But what is happening in universities today, is different from what we had during the Resistance movement. The students organize everything by themselves,” Harutyunyan said.

According to him, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also felt the results of these protests, he looked scared during his live broadcast.
