During a hearing at the Anti-Corruption Court, Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, stated that he had consulted artificial intelligence regarding the ongoing judicial process in a case that has been declared unconstitutional.

“I asked artificial intelligence whether it is possible to have the status of a defendant without a criminal charge, or if there exists any country in the world where such a thing is possible.

After processing all that big data for a long time, it told me: this is absurd and impossible. AI told me that there has never been such a case anywhere in the world, not even in the past 100 years.

If we act reasonably, then we should not be attending these court hearings. I come to these hearings more as an act of goodwill,” Kocharyan said.
