Armenian football player Edgar Sevikyan opened up about his transfer from Russia’s Pari Nizhny Novgorod to Hungary’s Ferencváros.
“I learned about Ferencváros a few years ago when the team was playing in the Champions League. I knew this team, and when we first learned about their interest, we considered it a very interesting option.
I just want to develop, learn at the international level, and achieve victories and good results. I know that the club fights for the championship every year; it has many titles.
I have heard about the active support of the fans of the club, which is an important positive emotional factor.
I want to go far in the Conference League, but first we have to think about the match with Olympiacos, which is almost in a month. And I want the team to move forward as much as possible,” Sevikyan said in a video released by the Ferencváros press service.
Ferencváros will play Olympiacos in the knockout round play-off of the Conference League. The first match will be held in Hungary on February 15.
FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod announced Edgar Sevikyan would leave the club to join Ferencváros on January 17. He has played for Pari NN since 2022.
