I have strong suspicions that electricity tariff will increase – David Ghazinyan

It would be very pleasant if the electricity tariff decreased, but I have strong suspicions that not only will it not decrease, but it will actually rise, David Ghazinyan, former acting director of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) and member of the “Strong Armenia” party council, said during a press conference.
When asked what risks he sees in connecting Armenia’s energy system with those of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ghazinyan said:
“I see quite serious risks. In general, linking such a strategic sector as energy—especially at this moment—to the systems of countries that are hostile to us is, in my view, not the right decision. How our authorities think is another matter. I believe their approach differs from ours by 180 degrees.”
