Former captain of the Armenian national football team, Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has posted a congratulatory video on Facebook.

“Dear Friends, May this New Year bring you endless joy and success, achievement of all your goals and good health! Wishing you and your families a memorable 2025!

To my Compatriots, I wish a year of serenity and renewal for our homeland. I hope that this year we will see the release of all our Armenian prisoners illegally detained in the neighbour country’s prisons and their return home. I wish us solidarity and unity, hard work and creativity. May the souls of our national heroes protect our sacred lands.
