ICRC transports 220 bodies from Artsakh to Armenia, mostly of those who died in fuel depot blast

In September-October, the International Committee of the Red Cross facilitated the evacuation of the wounded and sick, helped restore family links and ensured respect of those who died in Artsakh, the ICRC office in Armenia reported.

It is noted that 220 bodies, mostly of those who died in the fuel depot blast, were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia.

Around 2,500 phone calls and visits were received by the ICRC from the families of missing persons. 25 people in Artsakh were able to reconnect with their loved ones through video and phone calls. 124 wounded and sick people were evacuated to Armenia.
