Identities of dead servicemen have been established

The Armenian Investigative Committee reported that forensic medical and forensic genetic examinations of the bodies handed over by Azerbaijan to Armenia have been conducted. 

“We have already reported that forensic medical and forensic genetic examinations of the bodies were appointed within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated in the Armenian IC Main Military Investigation Department in connection with the aggressive war unleashed against Armenia on September 13–14, 2022, to identify the remains of two Armenian servicemen handed over by Azerbaijan.

Forensic conclusions were received, as a result of which the identities of the two servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces, whose whereabouts were unknown as a result of the war in September 2022, were established. There are no more persons whose whereabouts were unknown as a result of the September 2022 attack,” the Armenian Investigative Committee said in a statement.
