The significance of May 28 teaches us that we should not yield to weak-willed individuals or follow the instructions of the enemy; we must stand firm on Armenian soil, and only in this case will victory be guaranteed, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Supreme Council and member of the “Armenia” faction in the National Assembly, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“If they stay in power, all our national holidays will eventually cease to be celebrated. This is an anti-national, pro-Turkish government that is doing everything to deprive us of our national identity,” Saghatelyan noted.

Armen Rustamyan, representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau and member of the “Armenia” faction in the National Assembly, said in his turn that the people should be freed from this defeatism, despair, and the daily expectation of misfortune.

“A generation must come that does not ask for peace but instead conquers it. Turkey has not abandoned its genocidal goals, which means they will be repeated again and again. And only through consolidation can we achieve victory,” Rustamyan noted.
