During a survey conducted in Syunik, residents were asked whether Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan would receive the people’s vote.
Respondents criticized the government’s economic and social policies and spoke about their lack of trust in the current leadership.
“The people are tired of all this. What has he done for us over these years? He hasn’t raised pensions or salaries. Only his own teammates receive bonuses, while farmers and ordinary people are forgotten. He has divided us and driven us into hostility,” said one respondent.
Another resident noted that they had twice made the mistake of voting for Nikol Pashinyan: “I will not make the same mistake a third time.”
According to Syunik residents, the sad reality is that part of the population is still ready to vote for him again. “In 2021, no one believed that Pashinyan’s party would win a majority in the National Assembly, but it did,” one respondent recalled.
One survey participant remarked that elections in Armenia have become unpredictable, but if they are fair, 60% of the people will no longer vote for Pashinyan.
