If political solution is not found, number of casualties among civilians in Syria will be high – Maria Gabrielyan

Syrian MP Maria Gabrielyan told Alpha News about the current state of the Armenians of Aleppo and their problems.
“The situation in Aleppo has hardly changed. The main problem was with bread, but it has already been resolved. We have been provided with fruits, vegetables, greens, and even meat, but their quantity is limited. Prices for food products have increased three or four times. Most people work daily and are paid for one working day; accordingly, money is only enough for a day,” Maria Gabrielyan said.
She reported that there were almost no shots fired yesterday.
“It is unclear what may happen in the coming days. We have no opportunity to fight, because this is already a war. I do not know under what conditions we will leave this war. In today’s situation, the search for political solutions will be much more effective and will save human lives. If they resort to military measures, the situation will become terrible; the number of casualties among civilians will be high,” Maria Gabrielyan said.
According to the Syrian MP, many families voluntarily left Aleppo.
“On the first day, when panic began, many families voluntarily left Aleppo and headed to the capital or coastal areas. These relocations were simply terrible because families had to go through a 3-4 hour ride in 30 hours,” Maria Gabrielyan concluded.
