‘If the last rally hadn’t been so large, we might not have faced repressions’ — Narek Karapetyan

Law enforcement officers have seized 37 documents from the Electric Networks of Armenia, said Narek Karapetyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENA Company and nephew of arrested philanthropist and businessman Samvel Karapetyan.

“We understand that they are trying to launch some planned process. So far, they haven’t been able to connect properly, but the process has begun, they want to resort to mass pressure. No one is afraid of detentions and arrests in Armenia anymore. Let them detain and arrest as much as they want. It is an honor to be on the other side of the bars in Armenia today. There are always moments when you have to show your will and swim against the current in order to live with dignity. This is such a moment, and we are honored even if a situation arises in which we end up behind bars. No one is afraid of that,” he said.14:21
