India to post defense attaché in Armenia

India is set to post Defense Attachés (DA) to a number of its missions in different countries, including Armenia, news agency PTI reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

It is reported that special emphasis is placed on the countries with which India is developing technical and military cooperation.

India has already agreed with Armenia to supply Pinaka launchers, Akash short-range surface-to-air missile systems, and other weapons.
