Inna Sahakyan’s film to be screened at Trieste Film Festival in Italy

The film Outliving Shakespeare by Inna Sahakyan and Ruben Ghazaryan will be screened at the prestigious Trieste Film Festival, held in Trieste, Italy, from January 16 to 24.

The documentary follows the staging of the play Shakespeare’s Sins in an Armenian retirement home, where rehearsals evolve into heartfelt conversations about love, life, and loss.

Inna Sahakyan is known as the director and producer of Aurora’s Sunrise, which has received numerous awards. This animated documentary tells the story of Arshaluys Martikian (Aurora Mardiganian), who survived the Genocide and found refuge in the United States.
