Integration of Armenians into Azerbaijani society was impossible — David Babayan

The trial of Artsakh’s military-political leadership on fabricated charges continues in Baku. Former Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan testified in court today.

According to Azerbaijani media, Babayan said he was against the integration of Armenians into Azerbaijani society.

“Integration was impossible,” the former Artsakh foreign minister said in response to a question from the state prosecutor.

Babayan further noted that Arayik Harutyunyan, Ruben Vardanyan and other Artsakh leaders were also against integration.

“None of them saw any prospect of such integration,” he emphasized.
