Reports of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service are never unfounded, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, responding to a RIA Novosti question about the service’s statement regarding Yerevan’s plans to stop importing grain from Russia.
On November 12, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that Armenia, for political reasons, wants to distance itself from Moscow and assist Ukraine by purchasing part of its grain.
According to Peskov, Russia and Armenia have many issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation.
“You know that frequent contacts at the highest level are taking place. We have many issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation. We hope that this cooperation will continue,” Peskov said.
